How many times have you received your photos only to find that your pictures don't match your memories? Most chain or mass merchant's convenience photo lab are operated by untrained operator printing your images unattended in AUTOMATIC MODE. While it is a lot easier and labor saving for the lab but your prints are not color optimized nor is density corrected. A big compromise in quality, in our experience this has never worked.

THE TROPICOLOR DIFFERENCE
First step to quality photo processing starts with good film chemistry . We monitor ours every morning with leading Fuji Hunt Oasis QC software to keep a tight quality control. Next step is to ensure quality printing: All photo finishing machines rely on sophisticated scanner algorithms that set the printing parameters for each image. Our experience with these printers, including the our new digital Frontier Lab, is that the algorithms miss the optimum print density setting on many images. This means that in the AUTOMATIC MODE, a large number of prints will be often too dark or too light. The print density is the most difficult task for scanners, and thus requires operator input to optimize. At Tropicolor our experienced photo experts individually view and correct each print for optimum quality, ensuring that our customers receive the most accurate and beautiful photographs possible.
